Cavill + Co regularly works with businesses & brands to seek & secure a For Purpose (non-profit organisation) partner.
This month (November 2017) we are delighted to facilitate a partnership for a large engineering, construction and maintenance service provider to the utility infrastructure sectors in Australia.
Our client is often the first on the scene in a crisis and now they want to offer their skills and expertise to a non-profit partner. Their definition of a crisis is broad – it can include charities that respond to natural disasters such as floods, bush fires, societal crisis such as emergency or long-term housing for the homeless, rallying in a community crisis, safe refuge for domestic violence victims or refugees, community resilience education, infrastructure in indigenous communities and so on. Research was conducted amongst their employees and this was the preferred cause that they wanted to support.
My client is trusted by some of Australia’s largest companies to deliver a comprehensive range of solutions for utility infrastructure assets. They value building long term and meaningful partnerships.
Our ideal cause partner looks like this: The cause has an existing (or proposed) program / project /activities that requires engineering, construction, project management, civil or asset maintenance expertise – planning and/or practical implementation, in Australia. You require general volunteering and/or skilled volunteering for office and field based employees, and you have DGR Status 1.
If this sounds like you, read on, because you could be just what we’re looking for. The right cause partner will seize this opportunity for the skills, expertise and opportunities being offered.
My client sees this alignment as a partnership based on shared values and the opportunity for their people to provide their skilled expertise to the right cause. They want to get in there and make stuff happen, whether that be overseeing plans or bringing plans to life. There is potential to generate some cash through employee fundraising and payroll giving (over 1500 employees across Australia). They will promote your cause to their B2B clients and through their website (66,000 visits a year) and multiple social media channels (over 10,000 reach).
